Welcome to New Hope School

New Hope School receives all of the students from the local marginalized area. Some of the students come from families who can afford the tuition and some do not. Those who do not are referred to as "orphans and vulnerable children (OVC)". The orphans are usually living with grandparents or other extended family. This is the result of the children being turned away from the family due to too many children in the home or because the child's parents died from AIDS or other diseases. The vulnerable children are so designated because there is not enough money in the home to afford the child going to school.

It is with the ovc that we have the ability to make the largest impact on lives that otherwise would go in a different direction. Once a child is educated that gift can never be taken away. When we educate a boy we will change a family and if we educate a girl we will change a community

To sponsor a child at New Hope MCK Academy costs $10 dollars per month or only $ 120 dollars per year

Your sponsorship provides the following:

• Tuition and fees for the vulnerable children
• Shoes and school uniform
• Two meals per day for the children: porridge at 10:00am and Lunch
• School supplies
• Helping with teachers salaries
• Maintenance of the facility

To sponsor a child or children simply send an email to Stanley Gitari telling him of your gift, send the funds through Western Union (see page "Donate" for details and wait for an acknowledgement from Stanley that he has received your gift.
